We have have founded this community to give debate enthusiasts a place where they may freely express any belief they wish without moderation of said beliefs by the administration (as long as personal attacks and profanity are not used). We also wanted to create a site that remained neutral (offering all sides of an argument), while the members were the ones to make the case.  We want to offer newcomers to online debate, the resources to learn how to debate properly as well as a home to do hone their skills.

About The Community

The Online Debate Network is a one stop shop for online discussion and debate. Not only do we feature serious discussion, but we also provide information on and about: debate, logic, philosophy, theology, politics, and much more! We provide an exhaustive link list that is constantly updated. We will soon offer online courses taught by our staff members and qualified members. 

The Online Debate Network stands out among the many debate communities today, in that we offer neutral content and balanced source material, an introduction to many of the topics discussed (for beginners), constant moderation, a variety of subjects to debate, an updating link resource that is built by the members of our community, and much more! 

Our Environment

We have a diverse community, and encourage all beliefs (theological, political, sociological, etc...) to be expressed as well as challenged. We provide an environment where the argument or idea is attacked, not the person. We take personal insults and "flames" of other members very seriously here. While sarcasm, humor, and wit are acceptable styles of argumentation in our community, crossing that line and offending the opposition personally is not.

We invite members of all ages, religious backgrounds, political affiliations, education level, cultural background, etc... to join and participate. If you have any questions, please use the contact form to reach us.
